Fatu's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 32-year-old Fatu from Oic Branch. She is a married businesswoman with four children between the age of nine and 13 years old. They are currently attending school. She started this business to take care of her family.
Fatu runs a retail business and sells shoes to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past three years. Fatu says that her challenge is slow sales during rainy season.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more shoes to increase her business. Fatu says that the extra income from this lone will help to take care of her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a large scale. She says thanks to BRAC and KIVA For their support.
