A loan of $10,000 helps a Permanent Jewelry entrepreneur invest in equipment and a lease to offer unique-custom fit jewelry.

Mariana's story
My journey to entrepreneurship began with a desire to create something meaningful for my family and my community. I have always been drawn to creative work, but becoming a business owner required me to step outside my comfort zone and invest in myself. As a woman, mother, and bilingual entrepreneur, I wanted to build something that reflected my values of
craftsmanship, inclusivity, and connection.
I have sensitive skin and very small wrists, which made finding jewelry that was both comfortable and durable a constant challenge. Many pieces I loved required resizing or caused irritation, making every day wear frustrating. These experiences shaped my understanding of how personal and emotional jewelry can be, and how important quality and fit truly are. They also motivated me to learn the skills needed to create jewelry that feels as good as it looks.
Starting my business required commitment, resilience, and personal sacrifice. I invested my own savings, learned technical and operational skills, and balanced family responsibilities while building something new. Through direct customer interactions at pop-up events and private appointments, I gained confidence and clarity in my purpose. This journey has strengthened my belief that small businesses can create meaningful impact when built with intention, and it
continues to motivate me to grow in a way that supports my family and community.
