A loan of $3,250 helps to purchase fabric and colorful threads to continue her craft embroidering traditional bridal covers.

Shahrigul's story
Shahrigul from the Vose district is a woman with a rich life experience and a kind, caring heart. She is 58 years old, a mother of three children, and a loving grandmother to her beloved grandchildren. Her family values hard work and unity: her husband and sons are house-repair masters, while her daughters-in-law are homemakers who create warmth and comfort in the household.
Shahrigul herself is a seamstress and a skilled craftswoman who has been dedicated to embroidery for 16 years. The work she creates is called “Davri”, a traditional national bridal cover embroidered especially for brides on their wedding day. In the photo, you can see her handmade work, stitched with love and devotion. Embroidering almost four meters of fabric is a demanding task that requires patience, strength, and exceptional skill.
Her embroidery is very delicate and complex, with each pattern carrying cultural meaning and tradition. Shahrigul dreams of purchasing fabric and colorful threads to continue her craft and preserve this beautiful heritage. She sincerely hopes for your support and believes that kindness and generosity help keep traditional art alive for future generations.
