Doraida Marelly's story
Doraida, age 42, is a single mother, head of household, with a happy and kind personality. She lives with her parents who help with her business and the care of her 1.5-year-old daughter. Doraida goes out every day to work with a shovel, tilling the land of others' crops and her own. She and her father together grow mango and avocado, and after the harvest, they sell their products at fairs.
Doraida wants to expand her planting and so she requests a loan to buy seeds, agricultural supplies, and work tools. This will help with good care and maintenance of her crops. She dreams of being able to give her young daughter a good life in the future, so that she will grow she grow up healthy and happy without deprivation.
