Thuỷ

Ms.Thuỷ is a 49-year-old ethnic minority woman living in Thạch Lập commune with her family and her child, who is currently in the 8th grade. For over 20 years, she has been a dedicated farmer and also works peeling acacia bark, yet her modest monthly income of approximately $225 keeps her household in the low-income category. Despite her decades of experience, her income remains low and unstable, especially as her home is located far from the town center, making it difficult to sustain her family's needs.

To create a more secure livelihood, Ms.Thuỷ is seeking her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to supplement her capital for planting acacia trees. She intends to use this investment specifically to purchase acacia seedlings, leveraging her agricultural expertise to develop a more stable and significant source of long-term income. This loan is essential for her to overcome the lack of initial capital and the geographic challenges she faces, providing the necessary funds to improve her family's economic status and support her child's education.
