Joel's story
Joel lives in the province of Bohol. He is 52 years old and has two dependents. To earn an income, he runs a sari-sari (variety) store where he sells basic commodities. He has been managing this business for 11 years.
He is currently requesting a loan of PHP 30,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI-Philippines. He will use the loan to purchase grocery items for his store.
Joel hopes to strengthen his livelihood in the future and become more productive.
