Jessica's story
Jessica resides in the province of Cebu. She is 42 years old and married. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells basic commodities. She has been managing this business for 12 years.
Currently, Jessica is requesting a loan of PHP 50,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines. She will use the loan as additional capital to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.
Jessica dreams of further improving her business in the future to achieve a better standard of living.
