Joan

Joan is 33 years old. She is married with four children. She has had a posho mill and also has sold cereals for 16 years, selling dry maize and sorghum, beans and rice, and earning  20,000 KES per month.

She has applied for her first loan from VisionFund to finance her business. She will use the money to buy sacks of maize and millet during this harvesting season. She hopes this will help her to service her loan and provide basic needs for her family. Her hope and dream for the future is to see her children have a good education.
