Mohamed's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 53-year-old Mohamed from Lunsar branch. He is a married businessman with three children between the ages of 11 and 24 years old. They are currently attending school. He started this business to care for his family.

Mohamed runs a retail business and sells food items to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past 17 years now. Mohamed says that his challenge is the increase in the cost of goods in the market.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more food like cassava, Gari, palm oil, etc. to increase his business. Mohamed says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of his family. In the future, he would like to establish at to a larger scale. He says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
