Paul's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 50-year-old Paul from Lunsar branch. He is a married businessman with five children between the age of 7 and 18 years old. They are currently attending school. He started this business to care for his family.
Paul runs a retail business and sells food to his customers around the community. He has been in this business for the past 10 years now. Paul says that his challenge is the increase in the cost of goods in the market.
He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more food such as cassava, gari, rice, palm oil, etc. to increase his business. Paul says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of his family. In the future, he would like to establish his business at a larger scale.
