The Honey Throne Self-Care Lounge was created from lived experience. I am a survivor of trauma, and through my own healing journey, I recognized how difficult it can be for women to find safe, nurturing spaces where they feel seen, supported, and restored without judgment. My personal experiences inspired me to become an advocate for healing and to create a wellness space rooted in empathy, safety, and empowerment.

The Honey Throne exists to support women who are navigating trauma, emotional exhaustion, burnout, and major life transitions. Many of our clients are women balancing work, caregiving, entrepreneurship, or recovery from challenging life experiences, and they often put their own well-being last. Our mission is to offer a calm, intentional environment where women can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and prioritize self-care as a vital part of healing.

We provide non-clinical, holistic self-care services designed to promote relaxation, grounding, and emotional restoration. Our approach is trauma-informed and centered on consent, comfort, and creating a sense of safety. While we do not offer medical or therapeutic treatment, we aim to complement each client’s personal healing journey by offering supportive self-care experiences that encourage ongoing wellness and self-empowerment.

Access to capital through Kiva would allow The Honey Throne Self-Care Lounge to grow sustainably, expand accessibility, and continue serving women who may not have access to traditional wellness spaces. This loan represents an opportunity to deepen our impact while staying rooted in our mission of healing, advocacy, and community care.
