Roda's story
Roda resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 35 years old and has two dependents. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 13 years.
Currently, Roda is seeking a loan of PHP 55,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase an engine and plywood for their fishing boat.
Roda aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
