Maribel's story
Maribel resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 48 years old and has one dependent. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 20 years.
Currently, Maribel is seeking a loan of PHP 47,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase fishing nets and an engine for their fishing boat.
