Ginalyn's story
Ginalyn resides in the province of Southern Leyte. She is 43 years old and married. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells basic commodities. She has been managing this business for 15 years.
Currently, Ginalyn is requesting a loan of PHP 30,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan as additional capital to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.
Ginalyn dreams of further improving her business in the future to achieve a better standard of living.
