Anita's story
Anita lives in the province of Leyte. She is 69 years old and married. She buys and sells seafood to earn an income. She has been in this business for 30 years.
Anita is now asking for a loan of 50,000 PHP through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan for additional capital to buy more seafood to sell.
Anita wants to augment this livelihood in the future for a better means of living.
