Maregen's story
Maregen lives in the province of Leyte. She's 38 years old and has two dependents. To earn an income, she's run a hog-raising business a dozen years.
She's requesting a loan of PHP 50,000 through Kiva lending partner CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines, to buy feeds and vitamins for her hogs.
Maregen hopes to expand her business to achieve a better means of living.
