Eva's story

Eva resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 52 years old and married. To earn an income, she runs a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells basic commodities. She has been managing this business for more than 20 years.

Currently, Eva is requesting a loan of PHP 60,000 through Kiva’s lending partner, CEVI, a microfinance NGO in the Philippines. She will use the loan as additional capital to buy assorted groceries to sell in her store.

Eva dreams of further improving her business in the future to achieve a better standard of living.
