Asaph's story

Asaph is a 67-year-old from Kashaka Mbarara district in the western part of Uganda. He is married with seven children and none is still a school goer. He is a very hardworking farmer who does banana plantation farming as his major source of income; he also earns an extra income to support his family from coffee growing.

Asaph has a challenge of low yielding banana production due to a lack of manure in his plantations; therefore he is seeking a loan with EBO Sacco to purchase manure for his plantations in order to increase banana production and sales.

He is a repeat borrower with a very good credit history and co-operates very well with his spouse.
