Mamie's story
This is 45-year-old Mamie. She lives with her husband and 7 children, three of whom are still in school.
Mamie is a hardworking businesswoman who sells dried goods. Eight years ago, she began operating her sales. She learned how to sell from her mother.
She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site and works Monday through Saturday. She likes her business because it gives her money daily.
To maintain her sales, Mamie requested a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva lending partner. This loan will be used to buy more dried goods to sell to her good clients.
Her dream, for the future, is to become a big businesswoman. Mamie wishes to say thanks.
