Johana Leticia
A loan of $3,275 helps to purchase merchandise, including special products for the Christmas season.

Johana Leticia's story
Thirty-six-year-old Johana is a single mother with a fourteen-year-old son who is in the eighth grade in the state of Suchitepequez. She attended university for two years, studying to be a teacher.
She has a business selling baby clothing, toys, artificial roses, stuffed animals, ribbons, and personalized gifts. She wants to have plenty of merchandise ready for the holiday season. Her goals are to increase the size of the business and move into a bigger space where she can offer more merchandise.
Johana decided to join the Friendship Bridge “Bridge to Success” program because she wanted to take a big leap in her business. The program enables her to meet with a Facilitator every two weeks, either online or in person. Together, they formulate a business plan and, at the monthly meetings, examine the progress she is making to achieve her goals. She learns about effective business management practices that include planning, budgeting, keeping an inventory, advertising online, customer service, and more.
