Gilda's story
Gilda is 54 years old and married. She lives in the province of Leyte, where she runs a food stall, selling snack foods and drinks to get an income. She has been in this business for three years.
Currently, she asks for a loan of PHP 30,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEVI (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan as additional capital to buy food ingredients.
Through this loan, Gilda will probably improve her business for a living.
