Robert's story
Robert is an extension officer at Serendipalm. Serendipalm promotes regenerative organic farming and fair-trade businesses through sustainable Dynamic Agroforestry. He is interested in organic oil palm cultivation while protecting biodiversity.
He has about 10 hectares of organic oil palm which has help create employment for the youth in his community by engaging them as workers on the farm.
He wishes to secure a microloan from Kiva to enable him to expand his oil palm fields from 10 to 20 hectares for more yield and income and to create more employment opportunities for people in his community.
This loan, if funded, will strengthen his work with Serendipalm, aligning with the company's mission to regenerate land, create employment for people in the community and empower farmers.
