Elisapeta's story
Elisapeta is a 35-year-old mother of two who has turned her love for farming into a way to support her family. In her community, she grows and sells fresh vegetables such as cabbages, eggplants, and cucumbers which provides nutritious food while earning an honest living.
Elisapeta joined SPBD with a clear goal and that is to grow her farm and secure a better future for her children. She has applied for a loan which she plans to use to purchase vegetable seeds, farming chemicals, a wheelbarrow, and safety boots. With these tools, Elisapeta hopes to improve her productivity, increase her profits, and continue developing her farm into a more sustainable and successful business.
