Jesús
A loan of $1,325 helps to purchase materials that allow the remodeling of his coffee processing plant.

Jesús' story
Jesús is a young farmer from Popayan Cauca, with 17 years of experience. He owns a one-and-a-half-hectare farm where he has 7,000 coffee plants along with cassava and plantain crops. He carries out planting, care, and harvesting activities on an ongoing basis and produces around half a ton of coffee. He then processes the coffee in an artisanal wet mill. This allows him to add value to his production and sell it in the local market.
Jesús lives with his parents in a house near the farm. He has a child who lives with the child’s mother in a nearby community.
A loan of $5,096,607 COP allows Jesús to purchase materials to remodel his processing plant. This investment improves the conditions of the wet mill, optimizes working times, reduces losses, and strengthens the quality of the processed coffee, facilitating commercialization and the continuity of his agricultural activity.
