Marivic's story
Marivic resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 57 years old and married. She and her husband earn their living through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 25 years.
Currently, Marivic is seeking a loan of 45,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to buy fishing nets and an engine for their boat.
Marivic aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, to achieve a better standard of living.
