Rich Group

This group consists of 6 members who share a strong bond of solidarity and mutual support. They are all living in the same district. They joined Victoria Finance PLC in 2018 and, since then, have proved to form a strong cohesive team. Their main activity is paddy farming.

The first one from the right-hand side is Costantino, who is the chairperson of the group. He is a 34-year-old married man blessed with two children. He joined Victoria Finance in 2019 to benefit from an agriculture loan. He has been practicing paddy farming for over 10 years, and he has witnessed the positive impact that agriculture has had on his life. He does paddy farming with 3 hectares under an irrigation scheme. He is seeking a loan from Kiva to buy fertilizers, pesticides, and other farming inputs, and hopes this will increase his paddy productivity and, in turn, his income.

Since the loan is intended to be invested in his paddy farming project expansion, Costantino will use the increased generated income to improve the provision of family basic needs, health insurance, and school fees. He is grateful to Kiva and lenders and promises to repay the loan on time.
