A loan of $1,150 helps to buy more drugs for sale.

Nulu's story
Nulu is 39 years old and lives in the town of Makindye in the Makindye region of Uganda. She is married and has four children who are all currently in school. For the past seven years, Nulu has been working hard to manage her clinic, which sells drugs. To help expand her business, Nulu has requested a loan of 4000000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more drugs for sale, and will help Nulu to generate greater profits and will be able to expand her business. Nulu hopes that in the future she will be able to buy land.
Nulu is a member of BRAC's Microfinance program (MF). The program primarily serves small group members like Nulu who do not have collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
