A loan of $850 helps to buy more shoes for sale.

Jeniffer's story
Jennifer is 54 years old and lives in the town of Makindye in the Makindye region of Uganda. She is married and has 4 children, none of whom are currently in school.
For the past 15 years, Jennifer has been working hard to manage her shoe-selling business. To help expand her business, Jennifer has requested a loan of UGX 3,000,000 from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more shoes for sale, which will help Jennifer generate greater profits and expand her business. Jennifer also hopes that in the future she will be able to construct rental units.
Jennifer is a member of BRAC's Microfinance program (MF). The program primarily serves small Group members like Jennifer who do not have collateral for commercial loans, but have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
