A loan of $3,450 helps a member to buy more food (like cassava).

Dukundumurimo Cb Group's story
Appolinaire is a 63-year-old married mother of 9 children, aged between 22 and 40 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 20 years, she has been selling food. Appolinaire is the leader of the group named Dukundumurimo CB, which in English means “People who like to work.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.
Appolinaire will use her loan to buy more food, like cassava, to sell within her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to feed her family and to increase her savings. She is thankful for the support. She was photographed as the group representative.
