Cristy's story
Cristy resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 44-years old and has six dependents. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 19 years.
Currently, Cristy is seeking a loan of 40,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase fish nets, paint, bamboo, nails, and binders.
Cristy aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
