Thoa's story

Mrs. Thoa is 54 years old. She is married, and all her children are grown except for her youngest daughter, who is currently in university. She and her husband live in a small house in rural Thanh Hoa province. For more than 20 years, they have been farmers, raising cows, chickens, and pigs, and growing rice and vegetables. Their income is just enough to get by. To earn a little more, they also take on small labor jobs whenever possible.

Their livestock shelter has become old and damaged, making it difficult to raise animals safely. Mrs. Thoa hopes to buy construction materials and hire workers to repair the barn, but she does not have enough savings. She is now applying for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to support this plan.

In the future, she hopes to raise more cows and pigs to increase the family’s income and to have enough money to help her daughter finish university.
