Mbay
A loan of $60,000 helps to provide three drivers in Senegal with affordable electric vehicles that increase their income by at least 50% while reducing emissions.

Mbay's story
Mbay Mobility helps ride-hailing drivers in Senegal access affordable electric vehicles (EVs) through a pay-as-you-earn model, allowing them to work with their own means of income instead of renting costly cars.
With this loan, three drivers—including clients like Youssoupha, pictured above—will each gain access to an electric vehicle that increases their monthly net income by at least 50%.
Deploying these three EVs will also avoid 575 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the carbon captured by 9,600 trees over 10 years.
