El Progreso Group's story
Cristina, age 55, is an entrepreneur who lives with her life companion and her child, age 12 years, who is her only dependent. She also has two children who are adult and independent.
For more than ten years, she has had a general store in her home. She personally runs the business every day of the week. That permits her to maintain direct contact with her clientele and to efficiently manage every aspect of the operation.
With the purpose of strengthening her business, she plans to buy sweets, various beverages, detergents, bleach, and basic grains. This will increase her inventory and expand the variety of available products. This investment will permit her to improve her sales and increase her income, having greater availability of items to meet daily demand of the community. On a personal level, her greatest aspiration is to provide her son with a better quality of life. Therefore, every decision she makes within her business is geared towards ensuring stability and growth for her family.
She, along with Eva, Claudia, and Paul, make up the solidarity group "El Progreso".
In this group: Eva, Claudia Alexandra, Paul Stanley, Cristina
