Cristina, the first one in the photo from right to left, began working at a young age at beauty salons for other people. After much effort to save some money and with the help of her husband, she reinvested and expanded to arrive at the structure she has today.
She currently has a salon that offers manicure, pedicure and waxing services, maintaining a loyal customer base who attend monthly.
During the busiest times, Cristina hires young women to help out, contributing to income distribution in the neighborhood. Her salon also ensures her own income to help with the family expenses.
She will use the loan to invest in the purchase of nail polishes, cotton, acetone, depilatory wax, hair removal strips and other products she uses in her salon.
