Liberathe is a 65-year-old married mother of five children aged between 28 and 37 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past twenty-five years, she has been selling food.
Liberathe is the leader of the group named Duteraninkunga CB, which in English means “People who have to support each other.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.
Liberathe will use her loan to buy more food like rice, sorghum and soap to sell within her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to feed her family and to increase her savings.
She is thankful for the support.
