Cảnh's story

Mrs. Cảnh is 59 years old and currently lives alone in Ngọc Lặc District. She is a member of an ethnic minority group in Vietnam, and her children are now grown and have families of their own. With more than 20 years of experience in agriculture, she continues to work hard to support herself. In addition to farming, she also works as a domestic helper to earn extra income. Despite her dedication, her household is still classified as near-poor in her local community.

She is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI with the purpose of expanding her acacia plantation. She plans to use the loan to purchase additional seedlings, which will allow her to grow more trees and increase the productivity of her land.

Her previous loans have already helped her improve her family’s living conditions, and she hopes that this new loan will continue to strengthen her financial stability. By maintaining and expanding her plantation, she expects to secure a more stable income source in the long term. At the same time, she is proud that her efforts also contribute to local reforestation and environmental improvement.

In the future, she hopes for good health and happiness for her family, along with better economic stability. She dreams of having a modest savings fund to support herself in old age and to live a more secure and peaceful life.
