Do's story

Mrs. Do is 45 years old and currently lives with her family in Hoằng Hóa District. She has two dependent children: one in high school and one in middle school. With more than ten years of experience in near-shore seafood harvesting, she works hard to support her household. However, with a monthly income of only around $255, her family is classified as a low-income household in the local community.

She is applying for her tenth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI with the purpose of expanding and strengthening her fishing activities. She intends to use the funds to purchase additional fishing gear, particularly new nets, to improve her catch capacity and increase productivity. Since 2013, previous loans have helped her family achieve better living conditions, allowing them to manage daily expenses and maintain stability despite the challenges of fluctuating income.

In the future, she wishes for good health and happiness for her family. She hopes to earn enough to raise her children well and dreams that the products she catches will sell at higher prices, helping her family achieve a more secure and hopeful life.
