A loan of $1,925 helps to buy materials such as cement, sand, steel, bricks, and roofing sheets to repair her livestock shelter.

Thi's story
Thi is 43 years old and currently lives with her family in Thường Xuân Commune. She has two children. Her 15 year old son has physical and developmental challenges and requires constant care at home. Her daughter is 8 years old and in third grade. Thi lives with her elderly mother who is no longer able to work. The family faces many difficulties in meeting daily needs.
At present, Thi works as a farmer and has more than five years of experience in agriculture. She also takes on sewing work whenever possible, though that income is unstable and insufficient. As a result, her family is classified as a low-income household in the community. She turned to Thanh Hoá MFI for her first loan, and will use the funds to repair and improve her livestock shelter. She plans to purchase materials such as cement, sand, steel, bricks, and roofing sheets, hoping that better facilities will allow her to raise animals more effectively and increase her income.
In the future, she hopes to ease some of her financial pressures, especially as agricultural products often sell for low prices.
