Điều's story
Ms. Điều is 62 years old and currently lives with her family in Vạn Lộc Commune. She has no dependents, yet her household is still classified as a low-income family in the community.
She has been running a small trading business for more than 15 years, but her income remains limited. To improve her business, she is applying for her sixth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to purchase additional goods such as biscuits, fresh milk, instant noodles, and soft drinks. Previous loans since 2011 have helped her family improve their living conditions. One of her main challenges is that her home is located far from the town center, which makes transportation and sales more difficult.
In the future, she hopes for good health, happiness, and better economic conditions for her family, as well as the ability to save money for her old age.
