A loan of $1,900 helps to add the capital for planting acacia trees.

Nghiêm's story
Mrs. Nghiêm, 58, lives with her husband in a remote mountain village of Thanh Hóa. As members of an ethnic minority community, their living conditions are often challenging. Her husband earns a modest income from irregular manual labor, while she farms, raises livestock, and works as a housekeeper for families in the area to supplement their earnings. Despite their efforts, the couple’s income remains low and life is still difficult.
To improve their future, Mrs. Nghiêm hopes to purchase new acacia seedlings and fertilizer to replant the area where the previous crop was harvested and gradually expand their acacia plantation. She is applying for her third loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to make this investment possible.
She dreams that in about six years, the growing acacia trees will be ready for timber harvest, bringing meaningful profit and a more stable life for her family.
