Diễn's story
Mrs. Diễn, 51, lives with her husband in a rural village of Thanh Hóa province. Their children are now grown, but the family still struggles to make ends meet. Her husband takes on unstable manual labor whenever work is available, while she farms, raises a few animals, and works part-time in local stone-carving workshops to earn extra income. Despite their hard work, their earnings remain low and unpredictable.
To improve her family’s livelihood, Mrs. Diễn hopes to purchase four cows to raise for about a year before selling them to local traders. This small herd would provide a more reliable and sustainable source of income, helping the family cover daily expenses and prepare for unexpected needs. However, she does not have enough capital to begin this plan, so she is applying for her 10th loan from Thanh Hóa MFI.
With this loan, Mrs. Diễn can start building a healthy herd, strengthen her family’s financial stability.
