A loan of $1,100 helps to buy materials to make more modern chairs, expand his production capacity, and satisfy customers' needs.

Daniel's story
Daniel is a carpenter from Nanyuki, Kenya. He is married to a businesswoman and actively supports his family, including his children. Daniel is driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a desire to improve the lives of those around him, both through his business and by supporting his community.
Daniel runs a carpentry workshop where he creates high-quality furniture, taking pride in satisfying his clients with modern, durable designs. He is seeking support to purchase materials to make more modern chairs and expand his production capacity, and satisfy customers' needs. This will allow him to meet growing customer demand, increase sales, and reinvest profits to further grow his business.
His workshop contributes to the community by employing fellow carpenters and sourcing materials locally, supporting local trade. Having previously benefited from ECLOF Kenya Limited, Kiva’s field partner, Daniel dreams of opening multiple furniture shops across different counties, securing a better future for his family, and providing a lasting impact in his community.
