Las Guanabitas Group's story
The "Las Guanabitas" group is made up of responsible, enterprising women committed to improving their family's quality of living. They live in working class neighborhoods with normal living conditions.
This is Claudia"s case. Nine years ago she started to buy and sell clothing. She sells to acquaintances, friends and neighbors in her area. This business allows her to generate income to contribute to the family expenses. With her loan she will buy seasonal clothing to sell.
Claudia hopes to be able to establish her business as she now sells door to door.
The rest of the group is made up of: Karla, Rosenda, Yesica and Heidi, women who together with their families look to get ahead.
