Phương's story
Mrs. Phương is 54 years old. She is married, and all of her children are now grown. Her family lives in a small coastal community in Thanh Hoa province.
For more than 10 years, Mrs. Phương has been buying and selling seafood at the local market. Every day, she wakes up early to prepare fishing gear for her husband before he heads out to sea. Their income depends heavily on the weather. When the sea is calm, her husband can catch fish and shrimp. But when the weather is bad, their earnings drop sharply, making life very unstable.
To improve her business, Mrs. Phương hopes to buy more fresh fish and shrimp directly from local fishermen and resell them in the market. This will allow her to earn a steadier income and better support her family. To do this, she is applying for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI.
