Rosemarie's story
Rosemarie resides in the province of Iloilo. She is 60 years old and married. She and her husband earn their livelihood through fishing, a trade they have been engaged in for 30 years.
Currently, Rosemarie is seeking a loan of PHP 70,000 through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO in the Philippines). She will use the loan to purchase fishing nets and an engine for their fishing boat.
Rosemarie aspires to enhance their livelihood in the future, with the goal of achieving a better standard of living.
