Mrs. Hà is 43 years old, married, and has two children. Her eldest child is grown, and her youngest is still in school. The family lives in a coastal area of Thanh Hoa province, where fishing is the main source of income. Her husband works as a fisherman, and Mrs. Hà helps him sell seafood after each fishing trip. Their combined income is just enough to cover basic living expenses and is highly dependent on the weather.

Recently, their fishing nets have become worn out, reducing their catch and income. To improve their situation, Mrs. Hà is applying for her sixth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy new fishing nets.
