A loan of $1,900 helps to purchase a larger quantity and variety of fresh seafood for sale.

Toán's story
Mrs. Toán, 51, lives with her husband and their youngest child in a coastal area of Thanh Hoa Province.
Her three older children are already grown, and the family’s income now relies mainly on the small seafood business she runs at the local market. Her husband works as a manual laborer, but his income is unstable.
Every morning, before sunrise, Mrs. Toán goes to the shore to buy fresh fish from fishermen returning from their overnight trips. She then brings the seafood to the nearby market, where she sells it to local residents. Her monthly income is a little over $300, just enough to cover daily expenses.
To improve her business, Mrs. Toán hopes to purchase a larger quantity and variety of fresh fish to meet customers’ demands, especially during busy market days. She is requesting her ninth loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy more fresh seafood, increase her sales, and strengthen the family’s livelihood.
With this loan, she believes she can earn a more stable income, better serve her customers, and secure a brighter future for her family.
