Jovia's story
Jovia, a hardworking 38-year-old mother, from Kisoroza village in Kyarushesha, is married and raising five children, four of whom are in school. Farming is her main source of income, and she grows maize to provide for her family. However, limited resources have made it difficult for her to achieve the yields she needs to sustain her household.
Jovia is requesting 10,000,000 UGX to purchase fertilizers and manure, and to pay workers to help on her farm. This support will enable her to improve soil fertility, boost production, and increase her income. With better harvests, Jovia will be able to keep her children in school and meet her family’s basic needs.
