Hiệp

Hiệp is 60 years old and lives with his wife and two children in a rural area of Thanh Hóa province. His eldest child is already grown, while his younger child is currently attending university.

To support the family, Hiệp weaves sedge fibers. He buys dried sedge from local farmers and processes it into weaving strands, which he then sells to handicraft production workshops. His wife works as a helper at a local market. Together, they earn around $250 per month, just enough to cover daily expenses and support their child’s education.

This is Hiệp’s second loan with Thanh Hóa MFI. He is requesting this loan to purchase more dried sedge so he can expand his production and increase his income. Looking ahead, Hiệp hopes for good health for his family and a stable, growing livelihood.
