Marta is requesting a loan so she can capitalize her business.  She will invest in purchasing wholesale corn so she can stock up the inventory of her tortilla business.  Right now, the prices are affordable, and as summer approaches, the prices will go up. 

La Sra. Marta says the the previous loans have helped her to improve her business's competitive edge as well as its visibility because of the changes she was able to make to the infrastructure.  She can now generate an income that supports her family.

Marta's family circle hasn't changed. but they are enjoying a more comfortable standard of living.
